I love babies. To all who know me this is no surprise! Every time I hold one of these little bundles I am ready to jump back in and have one more. This sweet angel was sleeping so soundly, she didn’t wake up once. A huge congrats to her mommy and daddy!
I was so excited to meet Manraj and her hubby Sukhpreet. When they stepped out of their VW I was secretly hoping I would get to photograph it… well I didn’t even have to ask as they were hoping for the same thing I was!! Manraj had four outfit changes, she had earrings, necklaces, a sari, and shoes. It was so fun to get so many different looks and hats off to her because she was pregnant doing all this!! I think I love everything about this session, the lighting, the settings, ahhhh LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Welll, I can’t really say more, I think the photos will tell the story. I am so excited to meet their sweet little baby boy or girl, thanks you two. 😉

I just love this baby, my Brynny B turns one today!!!! It’s so bitter sweet as she may be our last child….. might be…. 😉 I’m so excited to celebrate her birthday with all of our friends and family. After looking back on the year there have been so many memories, finding her voice…( more like screaming), learning to crawl, how she did NOT like eating rice cereal and moved stright to finger foods, and so much more.
To my sweet B, you have brought us so much joy in this first year with you. I can’t wait to watch you grow and change into a toddler and a little girl. Your sisters love you and you are one tough baby being carried around by Hadley… even though mommy says she’s not allowed. Thank you for being my baby, I wish you’d never grow up.
All the mommas out there, if you have children… hug, squeeze and kiss them because they only stay tiny for so long.
I was so pleased when Sara contacted to me to photograph her maternity and newborn photos!! It was such a honor when she said that she had been following my work and was excited to book with me. The weather was rainy which is typical for the valley but we managed to grab a couple shots outside of the studio…. umbrellas and all! Soon enough little Karter came along, and he is such a handsome little man. He was such an angel during our session, he slept when he was supposed to, and was awake when we needed him, overall he posed like a pro. I was excited to get so many great shots!!

Travis and Tanya have the most romantic engagement story….. a castle, a walk, and a proposal in Ireland! Swoon….. sounds amazing! Meeting through friends they started their journey together as friends for a year… friendship then developed into love. Seeing these two together, the chemistry is undeniable. Travis and Tanya travelled together to Europe with his sisters and a cousin, they stayed with extended family in Ireland. Everyone had known what was coming for Tanya, when she and Travis left for a walk….. soon Tanya’s life would change forever. Travis took her to Blarney Castle, they walked down a wooded path with a stream near by……sounds gorgeous!!! Travis got down on bended knee and asked the question, the question every girl wants to hear. With tears in her eyes, Tanya said YES! WOW! I love their story, such an amazing experience and memory. Tanya, here are your photos, you are gorgeous and Travis you aren’t bad either. 😉

If you’re getting family photos taken you know finding an outfit for the whole family is a huge task! Everything has to be perfect, the colours, is there a pattern, are we too matchy?? Ahhhhh! It can be overwhelming. Here are a couple of tips when picking your clothes for the shoot.
I LOVE these combos!! Something simple, yet has that pop of colour!
I love the colour in the clothes in these two photos!!! It really gives them character, they really stand out. I also really like primary colours!

Well this is it!!! Last chance for Canucks to win a Stanley cup!!! These little twins are sure cuter then the Sedin twins….however, when the Canucks win tonight there might be a little argument about that! Their Dad is a huge Canucks fan and had to include a certain Stanley in this picture of his beautiful little girls. You can sense the anticipation in the air, but I have a feeling that Vancouver’s going to make it happen tonight. Go, Canucks, Go!
Becoming a mother for the first time was an amazing, incredible feeling!! Having my third baby was no different. My beautiful baby girl came into this world on May 10th, right on my due date. She is so perfect, little lips, wispy brown hair, and I know she’s getting daddy’s blue eyes. My water broke on Monday May 9th, and Tuesday the 10th I went in to the hospital to be induced. With each girl I was induced, so third time was a charm. I had a very fast labour and delivery, she was born at 7lbs and 3oz. My smallest girl, LOVE her!!
That night we had a bit of a scare, the nurse came into our room and I woke up and looked over at my tiny girl…. I asked the nurse “is she a funny colour?” Just then the nurse picked her up, looked at her and ran out of the room. My heart sank, I told Shawn and he followed. It felt like an eternity that they were gone, so I unplugged my IV and found them. My doctor was assessing her and it was decided that the NICU was the best place for my sweet baby. She had apnea or dusty spells, where she would stop breathing. So there she was all hooked up to monitors and being watched 24/7. They ran all sorts of tests trying to rule out infection. After a couple days everything was looking good with no dusty spells, nor infection. Being in the NICU really puts things into perspective to be thankful for our healthy children. Saturday morning, we were able to come home!!! YAY!! I was so excited and ready to start our life with 3 little girls. I thank God everyday for the blessings of these little ones in our life.
